SYNOPSIS:

THE PROSPECT follows high school senior Jerry Vanetti, who’s been rejected from every college he applied to. Desperate to escape small-town obscurity, he masterminds an outrageous scam—posing as a star baseball recruit despite never having played the game. With the AV Club faking highlight reels and the drama department staging a phony exhibition, Jerry will do whatever it takes to hit his shot at the big leagues.
