SYNOPSIS:

Janie May, an aspiring country singer living paycheck-to-paycheck, learns she's a finalist in a radio contest to open for hometown star Harlan Thompson. Racing to the station, she accidentally hits Jesús, an undocumented worker who avoids authorities out of fear of deportation. Both struggle desperately, each chasing their own American dream and forced to rely only on themselves.
